NEW TEENAGE FANCLUB ON MERGE JUNE 7TH



Merge Records is proud to announce that on June 7th, 2005 we will have the distinct pleasure of releasing the new Teenage Fanclub album in the U.S. and Canada. Man-Made will be the band’s 8th LP, and first in nearly 3 years. We could not be more excited to be working with one of our all-time favorite bands!

Man-Made was recorded in Chicago with John McEntire at Soma Electronic Studios. 12 brand new songs in the ever-evolving but consistently amazing Teenage Fanclub canon. Teenage Fanclub take a healthy reverence for the great guitar pop music of the 60’s and 70’s, add their own unique spin with delicate harmonies and fuzzed out guitars, creating a supremely engaging brand of power pop that is uniquely their own.

Look for Teenage Fanclub on tour in the States later this summer. We will announce the dates as soon as they are confirmed. There will also be tour dates in the UK in late May and early June. Man-Made will be released in the UK on the band’s own label, PeMa.
